Massachusetts Water Works Association (MWWA) Selects Wright-Pierce as 2011 recipient of "Sponsor of the Year" Award

The Sponsor of the Year Award recognizes a company for its outstanding support of the association through volunteering, financial support and services. "In addition to being a Vice Presidential Sponsor, Wright-Pierce has demonstrated a continued commitment to support the water works profession and we are pleased to honor them,” said Scott A. Fitzgerald, president of MWWA.

Wright-Pierce water engineers, Richard G. Protasowicki, PE, a Senior Project Manager in the Water Group, and Laurie Ruszala, PE, and Christine Johnson, PE, both engineers in the Andover office Water Group, accepted the award at the November annual meeting and awards banquet on behalf of Wright-Pierce. Mr. Protasowicki has been an active member of the MWWA program committee and Ms. Ruszala has been an active member for the organization's education committee.

MWWA is a membership organization dedicated to the advancement of the drinking water profession. Through education and advocacy, MWWA is committed to protecting public health and providing a safe and sufficient supply of drinking water to Massachusetts consumers.
