Wright-Pierce was founded in 1947 by Frank V. Wright, Jr. and William B. Pierce in Topsham, Maine. Initially, the focus of the firm was civil and highway engineering projects throughout the State of Maine. In the late 1960's, Wright-Pierce branched out into water and wastewater engineering, and began expanding geographically.

Today, Wright-Pierce has a staff of approximately 175 people in eight offices located throughout New England. We offer a comprehensive package of water, wastewater and infrastructure engineering services to public and private clients. Our prime area of operation is New England, but we also selectively provide services elsewhere in the United States and globally.
