NEWEA Annual Conference & Exhibit 2020

The New England Water Environment Association’s Annual Conference & Exhibit consistently attracts more than 2000 engineers, consultants, scientists, operators, and students with its variety of technical sessions and more than 200 exhibitor displays. The conference provides an opportunity for professional exchange of information and state-of-the-art concepts in wastewater treatment and other water environment issues, and is a great forum to meet colleagues, professional allies, make new friends, and exchange information.

Wright-Pierce has several presentations and moderated sessions this year, on the following schedule:


  • Ryan Wingard will be moderating Session 2 at 8:30 am
  • Eliza Morrison, Wright-Pierce and Bill Boulanger, City of Dover present “Strategic Meter Migration Leads to Accelerated Solutions in Dover” (Session 2, 8:30 am)


  • Matthew Corbin will be moderating Session 18 at 1:30 pm
  • Lindsey Sheilds will be moderating Session 20 at 1:30 pm
  • Michael Theriault, Wright-Pierce and Terry Desmarais, City of Portsmouth present “Taking a Global Look—City-wide Pump Station Assessment for Portsmouth, NH” (Session 12, 9:00 am)
  • Wright-Pierce’s Ryan Bodnaruk, Eric Lemoi, and Andrew Boule, Town of Barnstable  present “Holistic Approach to Collection System Asset Management in Barnstable, MA” (Session 18, 1:30 pm)
  • Lindsey Shields, Wright-Pierce and Steve Dalton, Town of Exeter present “Phased Implementation and Startup of the Exeter WWTF Upgrades” (Session 20, 1:30 pm)
  • Wright-Pierce’s Jeffrey Pinnette, PE and Ben Stiles, and City of Fitchburg’s Jeffrey Murawski and Mark McNamara present “Multi-phase Improvements to Address Peak Wet Weather Flows and Nutrient Limits at the Fitchburg Easterly WWTF” (Session 20, 1:30 pm)


  • Kevin Garvey will be moderating Session 31 at 1:00 pm
