Accounts Payable Analyst

Wright-Pierce is looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our ME, NH, MA offices.  This position will support the accounting department by performing accounting and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable and Employee Expense
• Ensure the accurate and timely entering of all required information into the computerized system
• Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Work with employees to verify accurate expense reports and credit card purchases
• Credit card reconciliations
• Enter vouchers and payments for all ACH Bank Payments
• Match and verify vendor payments to vendor invoices
• Answer, address and resolve vendor inquiries regarding the status of their payments
• Maintain accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files
• Prepare analysis of accounts, as required
• Perform all required copying and filing to support the departmental processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Assisting with payroll entry

Essential Functions:

• ​Maintain strong working relationships with vendors, including our on-line office supply marketplace
• Assist accounting staff with A/P and employee expense entry and payment
• Review purchasing agreements with vendors
• Monitor renewal schedules for IT and other IT and corporate routine/annual purchases
• Work with administrative staff to standardize purchasing needs across offices and departments
• Become the company’s central contact and resource for purchasing decisions
• Evaluate purchase tracking systems, including our current ERP product

Qualifications

• Candidates must have 3-5 years of AP experience
• Proficient in Word, Excel and familiar with Access
• Associates Degree or related experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Must be organized
• Ability to multi-task
• Could expect some travel to various office locations.
