The South Carolina Environmental Conference (SCEC) is an annual conference for the water and wastewater engineering community and includes over 170 technical sessions, an exhibition hall, and friendly competitions for operators. Helmed by the Water Environmental Association of South Carolina (WEASC), the SCEC’s goal is to provide learning and networking opportunities to water and wastewater engineers, technicians, and professionals who serve the South Carolina region.

SCEC Technical Sessions

The 2026 SCEC theme is Intelligent Infrastructure: The Future of Water Utilities, and our team has prepared a range of water and wastewater presentations to share as part of the technical and learning development portion of the conference. The team attending this year’s conference encompasses nearly 50 years of engineering experience. Below, we include information regarding each team member’s presentation.

About Our Greenville Office

Many of the presenters above are seated in our office in Greenville, South Carolina. We recently opened this permanent office in Greenville to better serve our South Carolina clients, including Spartanburg Water, for whom Wright-Pierce is currently providing wastewater treatment plant expansion services.

Technology Leader I, Bartt Booz, PE, heads the Greenville office and had this to say about Wright-Pierce’s expansion into the market: “We’re excited to establish a new presence in South Carolina and to showcase some of our great projects and success stories at SCEC. In opening our new office, it’s important to note that company growth for growth’s sake is not the goal. Wright-Pierce has been serving clients in the municipal market for over 75 years, and we have a talented, multi-discipline staff of over 350 people. What makes us successful is our client focus and solving problems with award-winning expertise. Sometimes that comes from developing tailored, cost-effective solutions and sometimes it’s simply helping with funding solutions to make projects affordable. Whatever the need, we strive to be a strategic partner to help realize our clients’ goals. Feel free to stop by our booth at SCEC to let us know how we can help; we would love to meet you!”

You can visit our new office at 10 Patewood Drive, Suite 220, Greenville, SC 29615 or contact us to learn more about our services.
