Following its annual shareholder meeting in April, Wright-Pierce announced several new leadership team members. This continues the firm’s commitment to grow from within.

Dan Flaig has been appointed to the firm’s Board of Directors and several new company shareholders have been named. These promotions reflect the most recent initiative of Wright-Pierce’s established ownership transition plan.

The firm is owned by a group of key employee shareholders, representing about 20% of employees. New shareholders added in 2024 and 2025, based on their demonstrated leadership, are (listed alphabetically): Jennie Auster (Burlington, VT); Owen Chaplin (Portland, ME); Kevin Garvey (Burlington, MA); Mohamed Ghaly (Portland, ME); Chris Hinkley (Topsham, ME); Mike Hornig (Providence, RI); Tara Hourihan (Marlborough, MA); Elliott Lagner (Topsham, ME); Don Lee (Greenville, SC); Kristen Lemasney (Portsmouth, NH); Jeff Mercer (Portland, ME); Jess Richard (Burlington, MA); Rebecca Saucier (Portsmouth, NH); Andrew Smith (Providence, RI); Eben Spalding (Maitland, FL); and Jaime Wallace (Topsham, ME).

Dan Flaig is an Associate Vice President, Maine Drinking Water Group Leader, and newest member of the Board of Directors. He has been with Wright-Pierce for over two decades and has a wide range of experience in planning, design, and construction of drinking water facilities and infrastructure projects for municipal clients. Over the years, Dan has served as project manager on a number of drinking water projects throughout Northern New England and has been essential to mentoring Wright-Pierce’s drinking water engineers in Maine.
