Wright-Pierce is pleased to announce the addition of Vonnie Reis, PE to its Massachusetts Wastewater Practice Group as Senior Project Manager.
Vonnie comes to Wright-Pierce with over 35 years of engineering experience in both consulting and municipal environments. Beginning her career in construction management, Vonnie managed daily operations for water and wastewater projects, including the design and construction of sewers and water main replacements, sewer infrastructure rehabilitations, and water treatment facilities.
This hands-on experience strengthened Vonnie’s comprehensive knowledge of wastewater collection systems, underwriting her transition to a municipal role where she remained for over a decade.
In this role, Vonnie oversaw the execution of numerous capital projects for water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadways. Describing this transition, she stated: “Working for municipalities really allowed me to understand the ‘big picture’ of what a community needs and how to develop a long-term plan to support that community’s vibrance and growth.”
Vonnie looks forward to leveraging her deep technical knowledge and community-building skills at Wright-Pierce, supporting the firm’s mission to “give back” to its clients and communities by delivering technical excellence and superior client service.
Wastewater Practice Group Leader, Tim Vadney, discusses Vonnie’s hire, “One of our core values at Wright-Pierce is the ability to serve our clients’ needs on an individual level. Vonnie’s extensive expertise in the Massachusetts municipal infrastructure market and her concentrated focus on serving communities aligns perfectly with our mission and makes her an essential and exciting addition to our team.”
